Windows 10: Since I updated my laptop to windows 10 its been lagging seriously

i have checked my pc and overall its bad ive had this laptop for several years and since i have update it to windows 10 free editon from windows 8.1 it had been laggin and i cannot do anything about it every few seconds that i move the cursour it laggs these are my problems somebody please help i cannot do my homework properly also my RAM percentage is really high when i look on xbox game bar

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
