Windows 10: How do I find Processor Power Management on my Dell Inspiron 15 7000?

How do I find Processor Power Management on my Dell Inspiron 15 7000? My brand new out of the box today laptop is running extremely hot and I want to fix it.

Inspiron 15 7000 won't stay on

That means Dell needs you to spend more money. *Wink

All I can think of is to try a new battery. Some laptops won't work without a functional battery installed apparently. This should be known for such a popular laptop like Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (whether it works with no battery just power cord or not.)

 

Need to significiantly increase Dell Inspiron 7000 speed or donate?

Mark, go to to Dell site and search your model. Then determine what SSDs it supports. I would then shop around to find the best price you can

I found this, but would still check the Dell site too. I tried but it isnt loading for me now.

Since, the above steps did not help to fix the issue. Let’s try simple steps and check if this helps. I suggest you to go to the below link, download the Synaptics Touchpad driver and install it in compatibility mode.

  Right-click on the Synaptics Touchpad driver setup file and select Properties.

  Select Compatibility tab.

  Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to contact to the computer manufacturer and check if they have released Synaptics Touchpad driver for Windows 10.
