    Hello everyone! This is my first post here, hope it goes well *Smile

    Issue:
    I have set my monitors to turn off after 5 mins, and the PC is set to "never" sleep. At five minutes the monitors will turn off and sleep and the monitor indicator light will turn orange, but only for a few seconds. After a few seconds the indicator light will turn white but the screen remains black. So nothing is being displayed, but the monitors are definitely not sleeping as indicated by the white light. I have done searched online but not found a solution yet.

    Additional info:
    -This is a fresh install of Windows 10 Home（x64) version 20H2 (19042.804)
    -My monitor drivers are installed (Asus ProArt 27" monitors PA278QV)
    -Latest nVidia drivers installed (GeForce experience not installed, drivers only)
    -USB selective suspend is Disabled in power options
    -I have no gaming controllers installed (known to cause sleep issues)

    Machine goes to sleep, can't wake it


    No joy on changing to High Performance.

    Not sure how to tell what/why I have a black screen with the monitor's showing they are in power saving mode (i.e. the indicator light on the monitor is amber rather than the usual blue). Any suggestions?

    Monitors won't go to sleep... Why?

    My monitor properly went to sleep when plugged in via DVI but ever since I changed it to HDMI, it doesn't. Instead, it gives a check video signal display that never goes away. I think only DVI and DisplayPort properly support monitor sleep states. HDMI is designed for TVs and TVs generally don't sleep (at best, they dim).
