  1. New Gaming PC and Connection with the Internet

    I have a new computer, for some reason after setting it up it only has 1 bar of WIFI connection, while all other gadgets and phones in the house have 5 bars max. Could this be an issue with the new computer vs. my internet?

    :)

    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

    • Click “View All”

    • Select "Internet Explorer connection"

    • Click next to run the troubleshooter.

    New PC

    You would have to look up the games Max requirements and buy one that meets and exceeds the games Maximum specifications such as ( Processing Power / Memory requirements / Graphics requirements / Internet connection @ speed requirements ).

    A bad or low Internet connection can induce lag.

    • OR : Have a custom Computer built for yourself by a reputable agent who possibly is a Gamer his-self and knows his mettle.
    • To save money it would probably be better to do some research on the game and its MAX requirements and Internet Speed requirements for lag free operation " AND " if you are computer savvy build it yourself.
