That article kind of explains what I'm experiencing here. After every feature update since 2004, my PC will just randomly freeze regardless of what I'm doing, and I'll have to do a hard reset. I always end up having to roll-back to my previous version (1909), but now Windows Update is automatically pushing the 20H2 feature update every time it checks for updates. This means I can't get other cumulative updates for my current version, as well as any other update that may be needed, straight from the Windows Update tool.

I already ran a system file scan and DISM scan/repair right after I updated to the 20H2 update. It found issues and resolved them, but this didn't fix my freezing issue. I should note that my BIOS version is out-of-date, but I'm afraid of flashing my BIOS and bricking my motherboard with the frequent power outages in my area. The only other thing I could think of is to update all of my other drivers, as well as my chipset drivers, after doing a fresh/clean install to the latest 20H2 version. However, if this doesn't resolve my issue, how can I go back to the 1909 version so I can still use my PC?

Note: when I say 'fresh/clean' install, I mean that I'll delete all of my partitions on my hard drive and do a fresh install. I know Windows 10 Media Creation tool offers a clean install option to keep all of my apps/files, but I have a feeling that the issue will still persist? If I do it the way I intend, is there way I can do another install to 1909? I don't think Microsoft offers the downloads of previous versions.
