  1. Video Capture Card Not Working after Feb 24 Update

We use a PC to livestream our service and have an external video capture card. It was working the day before the update install, but hasn't since. We have checked all the areas. the USB port is enabled, but we keep getting an error code 43. We are at a loss as this will be the second week in a row we cannot live stream.

    :)

    Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

To understand the issue better, I would like to know do ‘’when you say update’’ do you refer to November update (Windows 10 Version 1511)?

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. I recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the capture card driver and check. Follow the below steps:

    • Press Windows key + X and click on
      Device manager
      .

    • Locate for the device (Capture card) and click on it to expand.

    • Right click on the device and click on
      uninstall
      .
Go to the capture card manufacturer website, download and install the latest capture card driver.

Hope it helps. Keep posting us with the status we will be glad to help you.

Video Capture Cards that work with Vistax64?

Some of you probably saw my last thread, about connecting my PS2 to my PC. I want to use a video capture card to do so. However, I've been searching, and not a single one (PCI card, USB dongle, or anything...) will work with Vista 64-bit.

Is there a way I can get the drivers to work in 64-bit, or am I stuck without a capture card altogether?

    Changed location of captured video

    Hi,

If you can no longer see the location option on the capture folder, you may restore your Game DVR Captures folder location settings. After restoring the game DVR Captures folder location settings, then you can change your Game DVR Captures folder location
again. To do this, you may follow the steps below:

How to restore Game DVR Captures folder location settings

    • Open File Explorer.
    • Browse to the Captures folder location.
    • Right-click the Captures folder and select Properties.
    • Click the Location tab.
    • Click the Restore Defaults button.
    • Click Apply.
    • Click Yes to recreate the folder in the old location.
    • Click Yes to move the content of the Captures folder to the old location, and wait a few moments.
    • Click OK.

Note: After you've completed the steps, the Captures folder will return with all its content to its default location: C:\Users\%username%\Videos\Captures.

After performing the steps above, try to change the location of your captured video.

Kindly update us with the results.

If you think this was helpful, do not hesitate to "mark it as answer" to help those who are facing the same problem.
