Windows 10: Upgraded to Windows Enterprise via Microsoft Store. Did not activate upon installation and...

As the title says, I upgraded to Windows Enterprise in the Microsoft Store. I had a couple problems getting it to install and at one point it even deactivated my copy of Windows Home and I had to re-enter THAT activation code. I finally got it to upgrade and now it's saying my copy of Windows isn't activated again. I went to my Microsoft account, found my receipt for Windows 10 Professional even though I wound up getting Enterprise somehow..? but when I click it I get a dolled-up 404 error page. Come on. This is the second time I've had activation issues in the last year and the first time I just ended up formatting all of my SSDs and starting over because nobody could figure out what was going on. This time it's not my PC, it's Microsoft's website. I know there are probably 0 people here who work at Microsoft so I'm guessing nobody can help me once again, but has anyone else had this issue? Is there anything I can do? Hell, I don't even see an option to request a refund.

No More Clean-Installs for Vista Upgrades

When users were upgrading to Windows XP, the procedure was that users could simply insert their old Windows 98 or Windows 2000 CD at the appropriate time during a clean install without the need for the old OS to be installed at the time. However, Microsoft has decided to change this for Vista, and now requires a fully installed and activated version of your old OS already on the machine. This comes as an attempt to prevent illegal use of upgrade CDs, but could be inconvenient and time consuming when the time comes to reinstall. The new procedure for a reinstall is as follows:

• Install your old copy of Windows XP
• Activate it either online or over the phone
• Install Vista

Windows not activated - upgrade from Windows Hometo Windows Enterprise -

good day, I was wanting to change from Window Home to Window Enterprise. After purchasing Enterprise in the store, I downloaded and installed. The error message is now: We can't activate Windows on this device as the previous version of Windows was not
activated prior to upgrading to Windows 10. Go to the store to buy genuine Windows. Error code 0x803F7001. This is on a recently bought laptop - Asus Vivobook and Windows was pre-installed. I have not got an reference info in terms of the original product
key. Any suggestions? Thanks!
