Windows 10: I have an issue with every headset and headphones that i use

Discus and support I have an issue with every headset and headphones that i use in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; So this has been happening since i got my laptop Acer Nitro 5 and it's that every time i try to plug a headset the computer shows a pop up asking me...     I have an issue with every headset and headphones that i use


    So this has been happening since i got my laptop Acer Nitro 5 and it's that every time i try to plug a headset the computer shows a pop up asking me what i have plugged in and i choose the headset option and press "OK" but nothings comes out of the headset so i gotta unplug the headset and plug it again to press on the pop up to go to the realtek audio manager and my headset finnaly works but idk why i have to go through all of that just to plug my headset to my laptop

    Could someone help me out? :

    Good surround sound headset

    I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue I have an issue with every headset and headphones that i use :p

    Hi Alise,

    This issue may be due to driver compatibility. We'd like to ask additional information to better assist you. Please answer the following:

    • Are you getting any error message?
    • When did the issue start?
    • Were there any recent changes made prior to this?
    • Have you tried using a different headphone to isolate the issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you set the headphone as the default device on your computer. Here's how:

    • Open Control Panel.
    • Select Hardware and Sound.
    • Click Sound.
    • Choose Headphones and click Set default button at the bottom.
    • In some cases, there is no headphone option alone, but Speakers/Headphone. If that’s the case, select that and click
      Set default button at the bottom.
    • Press OK.

    If the issue persists, then you can update your driver by following the steps
