Windows 10: Error code 0x8002801c

Discus and support Error code 0x8002801c in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I get this error when trying to run regsvr32 c:\windows\sysWOW64\mscal.ocx.     Error code 0x8002801c


    I get this error when trying to run regsvr32 c:\windows\sysWOW64\mscal.ocx. Says was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x8002801c.

    Error code 0x8002801c

    I put the msflxgrd.ocx file into the C:\windows\sysWOW64 folder.

    I ran "regsvr32 c:\windows\sysWOW64\msflxgrd.ocx" and got the message that the file was loaded but the DII Register Server failed with 0x8002801c error code.

    Hi

    I got error code 0x8002801c on windows 10 .

    I tried to fix by go to Command Prompt as Admin , type regsvr32 mscomct2.ocx but I got this error message "The module mscomct2.ocx failed to load."

    Please advise .

    - Is your computer connected to network domain ?

    - When did you receive the error 0x8002801c ?

    The error value 0x8002801c means, Error accessing the OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) registry. You need to copy theMSCOMCT2.OCX file to c:\windows\sysWOW64 not c:\windows\system32.
