Windows 10: Windows 10 4 Core CPU Core Compatibility Question

I currently have a Dell Precision 7920 with a SINGLE Intel Xeon 4 Core CPU w/32GB RAM. I want to add a SECOND IDENTICAL Processor/RAM compliment making it 8 Core. Dell indicates the system was shipped with Windows 10 Workstation 4 Core OS. Does the Windows 10 Workstation installed compatible or require an UPGRADE to accommodate an 2x4 Core CPU/2x32GB RAM compliment?

core unparking

I have a I5 7600 4 core cpu everything in the system is show 4 cores but there parked, I have the software for unparking them but when I use that it only shows 2 cores and that they are unparked but in the task window in performance it show all 4 cores
and that they are parked? so I'm not sure which is right and which is wrong since the program to unpark the cores is only showing 2 cores and not seeing the other 2 cores, but in the registry which is where it's looking all 4 cores are listed there. So my
main question then is there a place in the registry that you can change the cores to unpark them?

Windows 10: Is CPU Core Unparking safe to perform on Windows 10?

• When you say that "wish to unpark my cores to get better fps in certain games", what is the issue that you are facing while playing certain games? Have you checked whether the game is compatible to Windows 10?
• Are you facing any performance issue using the computer normally?

I suggest you to perform the system maintenance troubleshooter. It will resolve the common system problems.

1. Click on Search bar.

2. Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes and click on
Troubleshooting.

3. Then click on System and Security.

4. Click on System Maintenance.

5. Click on Next and follow the prompts to run the troubleshooter

You may also contact the manufacture of the computer as the issue is related unparking the CPU core and they might be able to assist you better.
