    How do you disable "Windows Firewall is turned off" notifications in 20H2?


    I'm on Windows 10 20H2 and need the firewall off because I install lots of apps that modify the system and host servers and stuff and the firewall is always blocking it. Don't tell me to make exceptions, I don't know stuff such as the ports. I just need these notifications that keep nagging me about it off. Is it in group policy or regedit? If so, where? Is there a GUI option?

    The only fix that it works in this one:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Defender Security Center\Notifications]
    "DisableNotifications"=dword:00000001
    "DisableEnhancedNotifications"=dword:00000001

    The AV notifications have stopped for me but I had to do this..

    These is nothing in my priority list but I'm sure one can add app's (it should really be the other way around where one can exclude apps rather.. (but then this is Windows developers we are talking about, no real logic . ... LOL)

    Anyway nothing going to Action Centre.. could be that KAF 19 has a better integration with Windows... but not getting firewall toasts either.. ..... (?)

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
