Windows 10: New SP7 Plus Freezing

    New SP7 Plus Freezing


    Hi. I have a new SP7+ i7, 16gb RAM, 512gb SSD which I've used now for 3 weeks or so. Happy with most but a couple of issues which are bothering me. Most pressing is the continual freezing of the mouse/curser. I had thought it was a bluetooth issue but same happens when using the keyboard trackpad. I downloaded the diagnostic toolkit and this failed to find or fix anything.

    Would really appreciate any suggestions.

    Jasc Paint Shop Pro 5 will not work in Windows 10 - starts but freezes. Any ideas?

    I have carried out all the steps you suggested plus uninstalling and re-installing the programme and again carrying out the suggested steps but still had no joy. I open a folder and it starts to display the photos but then stalls and says it is 'loading'
    the remaining photos in that folder but then freezes and the only way I can get out of the programme is Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

    Andre, thanks for your suggestions. I performed all steps as you listed and it appears that there were

    some problems that have been corrected. I will let you know in a day or so if the "freeze" problem

    occurs again. Many thanks for your help --- this took longer than I expected!
