Windows 10: Microsoft account loads with my home page in separate tab

I opened my Microsoft account a few days ago to learn about opening an outlook account and now it won't close out and auto loads when I open my internet connection and home page. How do I close the auto log in for the Microsoft account so I don't have so many tabs opening at once?

Microsoft Account Pages Not Loading Fully

This week I have upgraded to Windows 10 with a clean install.

I now have a problem that Microsoft Account pages will not fully load. For example on many of the tabs (not all) there is no drop down from my sign-in picture to let me sign out:





Nothing happens on clicking or hovering.

Another example is the incomplete loading of the Find My Phone tab:





The map and last location do not load.

The main account page is unable to retrieve my purchases or devices.

In contrast the "Payment and Billing" Purchase History page loads perfectly, including the drop down for my account picture.

I have cleared cookies and history, but it's still the same. It all happens in both Edge and IE.

Can anyone suggest what's going wrong here please? As far as I know, it all worked OK in 8.1.

Hi Piotr,

You can change these settings by following the below steps:

- Open Settings

- Select Devices

- Select Printers & Scanners (left-hand side)

- Select your printer from the list

- Select Manage

- Select Printer Properties

- Access the General tab and then click on the Separator Page button.

- To stop using the separator page, access the Separator Page dialog box and remove the file name

Change Startup Page in Microsoft Edge

Appreciate your welcome and your prompt response - I have appreciated your advice on this forum in the past, especially with the registry fix for choosing where to save downloaded files from Edge!

I have checked my Edge settings, and they are as follows:

• Open Microsoft Edge with new tab page
• Open new tabs with a blank page

So I can't see any reference to MSN here... it even diverts via this URL if you click on a saved favourite site!

Glad of any further advice or suggestions please.
