Windows 10: NahimicService

It's in task manager and I looked it up and it says is a trojan, and I looked at some questions but it said it should have a blue N logo in the bottom right which my computer doesn't.

All browsers take a long time to launch after 2004 update

What fixed the issue for me is Uninstalling the following

• Sonic Studio
• Sonic Radar

Restarted my PC and no more delay when opening Chrome or Edge without having to stop Nahimicservices.

I personally never used the above software but apparently it's part of ASUS services and I haven't noticed a difference at all from Uninstalling other than everything opens faster now.

 

Question about NahimicService.exe on Windows 10

Thanks again for your reply!

By searching more carefully about NahimicService on my laptop, I discovered the following :

• I have 2 user profiles (1 with administrative permissions-Account A and 1
  without such permissions-Account B). I more often work on Account B.
• When I login and working on Account A (adm. permissions) then NahimicService.exe
  does not consume significant amount of Ram
  and neither increasing Ram consumption by time.
• If then I llogin to Account B (no adm. ppermissions) ,
  without sign out from Account A then NahimicService.exe continues
  not to consume RAM.
• In case that i sign out from Acount A and login to Acount B
  then NahimicService consumes Ram memory ,which is also increasing rapidly with time.

Have you got any idea why is that happening ?

New computer Fan runs constantly

Hi,
I have a new Dell Alienware M15 R3 (Win 10 ver 1909) and the fan is on all the time even when the lid is closed.
There is a process that is always running called NahimicService. When I boot up and before NahimicService starts the fan is quite. As soon as it starts up the fan kicks in. I have been unable to find any way to disable it. Any help would be appreciated.
