  1. Memory and Minidump files not found

    Hello,

My name is Riley, I have another open forum on here about a different problem, but while trying to fix that problem I ran into another one. I can't find my memory dump and minidump files. Long story short I have been having random restarts and part of figuring it out is to view the dump files. I thought I had it resolved until about 10 minutes ago when my pc shutdown again. I'm using BlueScreenView to view my dumpfiles, originally it only listed "ntoskrnl.exe" as being the file that's causing corruption, about 2 weeks ago when my pc randomly restarted on me, i went back and checked the file and it had "ntoskrnl.exe" and "amdppm.sys" highlighted. I went through the trouble shooting steps for each of those and thought I had it figured out so I deleted BlueScreenView. Once It happened again, I redownloaded it, opened it, only to find that there were no files being shown. So I went into "C:\Windows" and there were no dump folders. I even turned on "see hidden files" and even then still couldn't see them. Any suggestions?

In case it helps, Event Viewer says "Critical -> Event ID: 41 -> Source: Kernel-Power -> Log: System" it's Task Category 63 with Locale ID 1033

    :)

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds

Need solution for automating transferring of files to flash drives

I am wary of jumping straight in at the deep end so I have a couple of questions.

1 How do you know which files to copy to which memory stick? Can you put a list for each one in a text file?
2 Are you free to give each memory stick a specific label so that it can be detected in order to trigger the specific list that you have written for that memory stick?

I do have a batch file procedure for identifying the drive letter currently being used for a given external drive label. So perhaps you could trigger a common batch file that
Step 1 - checks each drive in turn to read its label and then find its current drive letter
Step 2 - for each detected drive, look up the list given in the batch file to identify which [if any] text file to look in to find the files to copy to that memory stick.
Step 3 - copies the files listed in the relevant text file
