Interesting BSOD Sequence on Upgraded Machine win 7 to win 10

I'm looking for some assistance/recommendations for troubleshooting various BSOD errors I have encountered on my older win7 computer which was upgraded to windows 10 last year.

I had a variety of BSOD issues over ~5 months IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, Memory_Managment, System_Service_Exception, etc.. I tried a variety of simple fixes, such as DSIM, sfc/scannow, chkdsk with no real issues detected. I have commercial antivirus software webrooot which detects no infections.

I suspected a hardware compatibility issue with an old USB printer and an older video card. I replaced both with new devices a few weeks ago, but still got a few more BSOD Attempted_Write_To_Read_Only_Memory. I tried using driver verifier and could force a driver verifier BSOD, but had difficulty isolating the faulty driver and didn't want to keep forcing crashes in case it was causing hardware degredation.

I finally bit the bullet and reinstalled windows 10 choosing the save old user data option last week. Since then, I still got two BSODs DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE and Attempted_Write_To_Read_Only_Memory. Not sure what is going on, maybe there is still some hardware/driver incompatibility network card maybe??

Any ideas that people would have would be welcome.

is hardware OK (Win 7) for upgrade to windows 10

I think in one of the other PC with win 7 or win 8.1 I run media creators tools and in some step prompt/found graphics card not supported... for win 10. I didn't found alone reading specs of win 10, but the tool says me... after changed graphics card the tool said all OK and continued OK with upgrade... That I ask to reach this step in this current PC - win 7 - must be all OK for the upgrade? Or must continue to upgrade to show this?
    and got to point

    • UPGRADE this PC now
    • Create media(DVD, USB stick, ISO)
is hardware OK (Win 7) for an upgrade to windows 10 for this PC???

Upgrading from a Win 7 Home machine to a Win 10 Pro machine

I have two machines, one has a Windows 7 Home COA (with a Win 10 Home digital license already connected to the mobo) and the other has a Windows 7 Pro COA (with a Win 10 Pro digital license connected to the mobo). I want to move the Win7 Home installation
onto the other computer, and upgrade it to Win 10 Pro in the process. These OS versions are properly licensed for their respective machines. What's the procedure?

Do I make a copy of the Win7 Home install on the Pro machine, then upgrade it with a thumb drive only there? Or do I upgrade it to Win 10 Home on the initial machine, the move the install to the Pro machine, and somehow do the unlicensed W10 Home to licensed
W10 Pro process on the target machine?

I actually did this in mid 2015 with identical constraints, and I don't remember the path. I do remember that there were a lot of wrong answers along that path and it wasted a lot of time.

    Thanks!
