Windows 10: Unable to Print from desktop HP Officejet Pro 6970

    Unable to Print from desktop HP Officejet Pro 6970


    Been having an issue with printing. The error has not occurred before. Only happens on my desktop, however I can print from both my phone and laptop without issue. I have uninstalled the drivers, restarted and reinstalled the drivers for this printer and still does not print out any documents. However my roommate can print from his computer.


    The printer is connected via wifi to our network, so I cannot directly connect it to my computer via USB. I was getting an error before. I am also able to remove the printer from my devices and add it again. However I get the same error of "Driver is unavailable".


    I have tried looking this error up and did install the drivers from HP's website, however it is still not recognized on my end.

    Windows 10 HP Officejet Pro 8620 Will not print


    Thank you for posting this. I tried all the listed steps and still not able to print EXCEPT when I ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor; at the conclusion of the scan, the app prompts me to print a test page from within the Scan Doctor and it is successful. I recall the 8620 being able to do this as well, however.

    HP Officejet Pro 8600 (Network) Printer

    I have one HP Laptop Computer, one HP Desktop Computer and one HP Officejet Pro (Network) Printer. Desktop Computer prints fine on wired. Laptop will not print on wireless. Any suggestions. Has worked in the past.

    We have just downloaded Windows 10 on our HP Pavilion g7 Notebook and have been unable to connect and print with our HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.

    Any suggestions.
