  1. Windows display port issues

Hello, I am having problems with my windows graphics display on my 4k television. It is connected from my graphics cards via display port as a sole video display. There are three main problems:

1 If the television is interrupted in some way, such as changing inputs or being turned off, then the display will not reconnect and the only way to fix it is to restart the computer.

2 When I turn on the computer for the first time, it rarely connects to the display first time and I need to do a hardware reset, which then tends to fix it

3 Sometimes after 2, on resetting, it switches to a half display mode as per the below image which also needs resetting to fix.

It's there an easy solution to my problem that I'm missing, or is it a bug, or some compatibility issue between my TV display and my graphics card? I can live with it but it's a real pain.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Liam
