Windows 10: Computer shuts down during Windows 10 Installation

I am building a Small Form Factor SFF computer. Every time Windows starts to install, it gets to 9-26% and the computer shuts down. I finally restored a Windows 10 prebuild 21322 image from my main desktop to the new SFF. It took over an hour to restore, so I don't think temp is a problem i.e. it ran for the hour without shutting down and does so in Windows Safe Mode also [see below]. Once I booted into the 21322 on the SFF computer, it runs for awhile, then shuts down again. I realize that a lot of the hardware that I have on my main desktop is not installed on my SFF computer, so I booted into 'Safe Mode'. The computer stayed on for over 2 hours with no problems. I just don't understand why I can't do a clean install of Windows 10 Home that I purchased and downloaded. I've gone into DiskPart and cleaned the installation drive and Windows 10 gives me no error msg while it is attempting to install, the computer just shuts down.


Computer config is:

Intel i9 10850K CPU

64 GB of Corsair memory which is listed on the motherboard support list

Asus Rog Strix Z490I Gaming Motherboard

Coolermaster ML120L V2 RGB AIO Liquid Cooler


This is the 6th or 7th computer that I've built, and I've never had such problems doing a Windows clean install before.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
