Windows 10: I need to batch print in order of selection for work

Right now I use PDF X since it's free, I have to select all my files (between 1 and 19 depending on the order) and manually CTRL P, enter, then close each window. It takes forever. Work is willing to pay for me to get a software that allows me to print in batches so I can highlight my files, ctrl p and bam, done. This is a feature windows scrapped and I can't for the life of me understand why, as now I desperately need it.

Microsoft Edge "Print Email" not working

Hi,

Thank you for posting back.

I suggest you to make sure that you made the following settings and check if you are able to print.

Step 1:

• 
  Open MS Edge and click on more actions [...]
  
• 
  Click on Settings and select
  Print.
  
• 
  Choose your printer from the list and check if you are able to print.
  

Step 2:

• 
  Press Windows key and type
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on view by and select large icons.
  
• 
  Open Devices and printers.
  
• 
  Right click on your printer and select set a default printer.

Skipping pages while batch printing from Windows Explorer

Acrobat Reader is not scriptable. This means that it is not possible to generate a sequence of steps that will reliably print selected pages. There is an ugly alternative: Generate keystrokes that do much the same as your fingers would. You can make it work
by trial and error. The method is unreliable because any pop-up (which you get frequently in a multi-tasking system) will upset the process.

To see what I mean you can try this method:

1. Save the code below on your desktop as Test.vbs.
2. Close all applications.
3. Open a .pdf file.
4. Double-click Test.vbs.

If it does not print pages 2-3, build the script up by yourself, starting with the Alt+Tab line, then adding more lines to suit your requirements. Note that different versions of Adobe use different letters in the File pull-down menu.

If you can make it work then moving to batch mode would be much less of a challenge.

Print order of distribution list

When printing a distribution list for cross checking with other documents, I have not found how to change the order of the list. They always come out in First Name alpha order, and I want Last Name alpha order.

Is there a way to change this print order?
