  3. Default color scheme

    Hello michaelholcomb1,

I hope your day is off to a great start. I wanted to provide you with steps on how to change your default color scheme. Also, because your request is so general, if there is another color scheme you are referring to, and these steps do not help, please let
    me know.

    To change your color scheme:

    1. click on your start menu to and type settings

    2. when settings appears, press enter or click on it to open settings

    3. There should be a section called personalization, click on that to open it.

    4. With personalization open, select colors

    5. under choose a color, set the button to on.

    6. there should be another button further down the page that has show color on Start, taskbar, action center and tile bar AND Make start, taskbar, and action center transparent. Make sure that is set to off

If you want to change your theme, you can do that at the same time as well.

    1. from the color page you are on, the left hand menu should have themes listed.

    2. click on themes to open that page

    3. under theme settings, you can to apply a theme. There you should see some windows default themes.

    4. click on the default theme you would like to apply.

Again, if these steps do not help and clear up what you need, please let me know. Its my goal to make sure you have what you need to fix the problem you are having.

    Have a great weekend,

    Danielle
