Windows 10: Getting Default Gateway Not Available error every few hours

Hi,

I have been getting this "Default Gateway Not Available" error ever since I got a new router. The interesting thing is that this only happens to my main laptop, and none of my other devices such as my phone and old laptop. It also never happen when I play online multiplayer games. I tried several things listed in Google searches such as network reset, IP flushing, update and roll back drivers, disable power management etc to no avail. My Windows 10 version is 1909. Default Gateway not available

The "default gateway not available error" occurs frequently when connected to my ISP's modem. This causes the internet connection to drop frequently and I have to run the troubleshooter to restore connection. I have gone through
all of the steps in the article
