Windows 10: Cannot uninstall KB5000802, Windows says it's not installed yet it is.

I'm one of those users that is having a hard time getting rid of this update, I've done my research on it, I'm aware of all the methods to get the update to go away but at one time I manually installed this because it was not installing automatically. I did this before I was aware MS has removed this update why do they still allow you to manually download it then??.


Here is my situation. My update history shows it is installed. However auto update keeps trying to install it. I've already tried stopping wuauserv and deleting SoftwareDistribution folder, restarting, etc.


Here is a screenshot showing it's installed. When I run cmd prompt to uninstall it I get a message stating that KB:500802 is not installed. It is:

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Ok, followed the steps in the directions you linked but I couldn't see how step 4 in red was done even after I maximized my screen to try to read the screen shot in red for step 4. It just isn't easy to read to see what is being done.

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused
