Windows 10: PCT2235 Touch driver

Discus and support PCT2235 Touch driver in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I've done a pretty thorough search and have come up empty in find a Windows 10 driver for Planar's PCT2235 (Touchscreen).     PCT2235 Touch driver


    I've done a pretty thorough search and have come up empty in find a Windows 10 driver for Planar's PCT2235 (Touchscreen). As their website says the monitor does not require a driver, they don't offer one at all. Its been a while without the functionality, but I feel it was lost after a Windows update. The exact one I couldn't tell you. Any help would be appreciated.

    Planar PCT2235 Touch LED LCD Monitor

    I am using Windows 10 Home Edition. I just purchase the Planar PCT2235 which is a Touch Screen Monitor. Following the Directions in the user's guide windows only see's it as a monitor. I get no signal from installing the USB cable, the Device Manager
    only shows it as a monitor with no USB input and the PCT2235 is supposed to use a Windows Driver.

    Thank you for responding.

    This issue might be due to drivers which are to be updated.



    I suggest you to update the drivers for touch feature in Device Manager:

    Steps:

    • Right click on Windows key from the desktop and click on
      Device Manager.
    • Expand Human Interface Devices, right click on the
      Touch screen driver and select Update Driver Software.


    Also, I suggest you to contact the device manufacturer website and try to update the chipset drivers as well.

    Hi,

    We sure can provide some troubleshooting steps before you decide to get help from your laptop's manufacturer. Please follow the suggested solutions below:

    Method 1: Check if the touch screen driver is enabled.

    • In the Search bar, type Device Manager.
    • Locate Human Interface Devices and look for touch screen.
    • Right-click touch screen and check if it is enabled. If not, please enable it.
    Method 2: Reinstall the touch screen driver.

    • In Device Manager, go to Human Interface Devices.
    • Locate touch screen again and right-click it to Uninstall
      the driver.
    • Restart your PC to automatically install the driver.
