  1. Feature request : consolidate all the audio adjustment apps/widgets/controls in a single UI

In an age of Working from home, having easy to use audio settings is pretty crucial. Windows 10 has split its audio control options "things I have to check to get it working" into to a variety of places, all fragmented parts of a whole. There is no one place to go to access everything I need, it is always a game of "find the thing that has audio the setting I need to adjust"

you have created a half dozen apps for managing sound devices. Please consolidate them in one place, a single "app", even if it's just a single UI over the various existing apps

Please place in a single UI

    • device management
    • mixer volume
    • app permissions
    • audio enhancements
    • device settings / enable /disable
    • launch troubleshooting
    • mic and speaker testing
    • set default devices

I shouldn't have to dig for another app while trying to get my mic working

setting and testing my headset on windows ought be as easy as it is on Discord

the fact that discord chose to roll its own, superior, audio testing widget should tell you something about the windows experience

also, if you type "troubleshoot audio" in the windows search, you do NOT get the audio troubleshooting app, but a web search. also annoying.

    :)

    Real Temp Feature Requests

Good idea. The Vista Widget is somewhere on the things to do list. The latest beta has a feature where you can double left click on the GUI and shrink it down so it shows only the important information. It takes up less screen real estate but is easy to read unlike some of the widgets I've seen.

You can also drag it anywhere you want on the screen. Not as sexy as a widget but more practical and it keeps the XP guys happy.

Fan control for 4870X2 broken in 1.17

Fixed fan controls yes. Annoying profiles yes. Buggy code yes.

I'd rather just set it and forget it as the feature list of RBE suggested it was capable of doing.
