Windows 10: 2021 windows 10 update

I've had the same laptop for about 5 yrs now and I have NEVER had a single issue with it until the recent update in January, and I've had NOTHING but problems. I only use my computer really for the Sims, it took me 3 months to finally get it to work wouldn't have taken so long if I didn't have a life outside of computer, bought two different applications to fix drivers, Windows said they were all updated, one app said 24 drivers needed to be updated, and the other said 15 needed to be updated. driverfix wouldn't fix them all and made my computer run really slow to where it would shut down and I'd have to restart. At first, I had thought it was the game itself, then I thought my computer was no longer good enough for the Sims 4 and its requirements laptop is good for a LONG time but after doing some research I found out there were LOTS of people having issues with the update. I had to reinstall sims 12x Literally the computer kept crashing, I was going crazy running around in circles, reading different articles. After not having much help from Microsoft, finally figured out how to downgrade the sims 4 to run in an earlier update duh! Game has ran okay for a the day... Out of nowhere my internet option disappears completely, computer shuts down, says my pin isn't available, asks me to download app to reset it, NO INTERNET. Troubleshoot won't work, telling me there's an issue and prompting me to connect to the web browser for more help WHEN THERE IS NO OPTION TO CONNECT TO WIFI! advice from my phone says may have to update wifi driver... all my drivers are updated. Laptop says there's there's issue with restoring to an earlier version and I have to reset my PC to factory settings. I'm not the smartest when it comes to laptops, I can usually figure them out, going around in circles to delete this, move that, upgrade this just to F up another that now involves another upgrade is too damn much.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

If you were in this situation, what would you do to get the Update Manager to make these updates?

• There is 43.8 GB available disk space.
• Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool completed successfully
• Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
