Windows 10: Microsoft Respects your Privacy

I have a new laptop that came with the trial version of Microsoft Office. I do not want that. I bought "Office Home & Student 2016" which i have installed on the new laptop, but every time I open a program I get "Microsoft Respects Your Privacy" which covers the whole screen. there is no place to 'X' out I gave to go into the "Task Manger" select then "End Task."


I did remove the trial offer before installing "Office Home & Student 2016" but that made no difference at all.

Microsoft Respects Your Privacy Screen will not go away

Every time I try to open a Word or Excel file, I am taken to a full-screen message stating Microsoft Respects Your Privacy....I have 2 options. (1) I can click on learn more and go to the Microsoft site. But this helps in no way, and afterwards I have
the same problem each time I try to open a Microsoft file. (2) I can hit control alt delete, but again, I have the same problem each time I try to open a file. The full-screen message will not allow me to do anything else. Please help.

Hi - I resolved it. The issue was that the NEXT button at the bottom could not be seen. Terrible design. I reduced the icons bars and buried them, so then the NEXT button was visible and accessible. thanks very much
