Windows 10: Dolby via HDMI ARC

Hi,

this is my scenario:

PC with nvidia 3080
AVR Denon X1500H
TV 4k120hz

My AVR doesn't support 4k120hz, so I connected the PC to the TV.
TV and the AVR have both HDMI ARC, if I use internal TV Netflix app, i got audio 5.1 via ARC.

How can I use a dolby audio from the PC to the AVR?
Now i use an spidf, but i've only compressed audio 5.1.
ARC doesn't work (PC see only audio 2.0 on TV)
The only way that I found is to connect PC to the AVR via HDMI on the onboard HDMI, and PC-TV via Nvidia, but i've to set duplicate monitor...is there any way to force only audio via hdmi without an external HW Audio Extractor?

dolby access dolby atmos for home theater

I want to try dolby atmos sond on PC and looked inti windows 10 dolby access dolby atmos for home theater. I searched atmos sounbars and find all atmos sonndbar pair with receivers. I

I find this Pioneer Surround Elite Atmos Soundbar is one of the budget range. dolby access dolby home theater need dolby atmos enabled home theater or soundbar. All atmos home theater paired with receiver. I contacted support and they said the soundbar
would not output audio without connected to to recriver. All ports on the receiver are all ocupied The only port left is HDMI out (ARC) for connect to TV.

if dolby atmos for home theater only support HDMI on home theater, how can it conned to PC HDMI ?

Even if you did get it working because you're going PC > TV > HTS I believe you will end up with an audio delay as I don't believe the BDV-E4100 has eARC, so you might have to try a splitter as @sdowney717 has suggested.

To update the driver you're clicking on the wrong one - it's the one listed under "Sound, video and game controllers".

Once that is installed, in the FX Configurator (from the APO driver) select your "endpoint" at the top of the screen, click "Product Config Tool" on the left, select "Dolby Home Theatre v4 (HDMI/SPDIF)" from the drop down then hit apply.

You should be able to install the Dolby app after that.

I'm also replying to this thread to get the attachments.

My sound system is a Samsung HW-Q67CT. Its basically a 5.1 soundbar that links to a wireless set of rear speakers. They advertise it as a 7.1 system (which I'm learning is kinda BS). It can handle Dolby Digital through the TV but only PCM when playing from the PC. Also, it won't let me pick 5.1 in my "speaker setup" settings.

I have a gtx 1070 with an HDMI plugged in through the HDMI input of my soundbar. And then I got an HDMI plugged from my soundbar's ARC output to my TV's ARC input.

My TV is a samsung Q6DR TV. It plays everything through the smart TV apps just fine. Amazon prime, netflix, even movies that I play on the TV's media player via its USB drive play dolby digital and surround sound. But when I play the same content through my pc doesnt play each channel correctly. I get this "virtual surround sound" coming from each speaker.

Hopefully I can use these guides to help. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
