Discus and support Microsoft Surface Bluetooth keyboard support on Bitlocker Screen for Dell XPS in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I have the same question as this one: Bluetooth Keyboard Support But i am using a DELL XPS 15 7590 instead.     I have the same question as this one:

    But i am using a DELL XPS 15 7590 instead.


    My bluetooth keybaord does not work/pair by the time the bit locker screen is presented.

    Hi

    I just realised that the Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard does not allow it to work when keying in Bitlocker PIN on Windows.

    Is there a separate USB Microsoft Bluetooth transceiver or any other solution to this to allow keystroke input on Bitlocker screen on the Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard?

    Hi Paven!

    I am sorry but I tried all the steps you suggested with no luck getting Microsoft 5000 Bluetooth mouse to stay conected on the DELL XPS.

    It could be that an updated Intel Centrino driver is needed but in going to Intel they say there is no driver update available, albeit DELL does say that this particular machine is not going to be supported under Windows 10.

    I also own a DELL Precision 6800 and the new Intel driver did work for the Bluetooth problem on that machine.

    I guess we'll just have to wait until a driver is available.

    I will also say that I tried to connect an MX Anywhere Bluetooth mouse to the DELL Xps with no luck. It would not even pair or see the mouse.

    I have been able to use Bluetooth headphones with the XPS.

    Hardware : Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard (Buy Surface Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard - Microsoft Store Singapore)

    Laptop : Lenovo T460s

    Operating System : Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit (Version 1709)

    The Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard is able to connect via Bluetooth in Windows.

    The laptop is secured with Bitlocker.

    My problem is that once you bootup to Bitlocker login, this Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard will not work

    Hence is the only solution to use wireless keyboard with wireless USB-dongle for Bitlocker Login? Or the Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard got a separate wireless dongle which can be purchased to be used separately for this problem scenario?
