What are those nearly daily updates, I bet they are versions for the UnistackSvcGroup

I have a cheap, low specs laptop. Maybe daily I see Windows Updates doing something, I suspect that they are installing new versions of system services under the UnistackSvcGroup.

I believe UnistackSvcGroup services are used to test versions of system services or something. I suspect that maybe I am in the Insider Preview, I once was interested about IP, but then decided to not take part. I have been doing some hobby developing with Visual Studio, it is a huge and bloated to my tastes.

How would I stop those nearly daily updates, they consume too much computer resources of my low specs and cheap laptop? Well now that I write this question, I'll check my Insider Preview settings somewhere in internet. Introspection is useful.

    Edit:

My Windows 10 Home setting of Windows Insider Program has just two links "Get instructions" and "Give feedback options", I believe it is missing more options?????

    :)

  2. UnistackSvcGroup

    Hardware: Dell Inspiron 2350, all-in-one, i7 core, 12GB RAM, 500GB SS disk + 2TB HD.

OS: Windows 10, with latest updates as of 03-04-2020.

Windows Push Notifications User Service, and related UnistackSvcGroup services, consume all available memory (in most cases, 9+ GB) to where the computer is unstable and/or unusable.

    I have tried:

    1. In Settings, Notifications and Actions, turning off ALL notifications. This has not stopped any applications from sending notifications (a separate issue) and does not fix the issue of memory over-use.

    2. In Task Manager, manually stopping specific services. This works for awhile, then the stopped processes restart automatically at (apparently) unknown intervals, and the memory over-use problem recurs.

    3. Reading articles in this community and on the web about this issue. I have not tried the suggested MSCONFIG and REGEDIT solutions yet. It seems to me that I should not have to perform surgery on the OS to prevent the problem from occurring. There appears
to be something structurally wrong with UnistackSvcGroup such that it cannot control its own memory use.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
