Windows 10: Personal Vault icon missing from OneDrive windows explorer, can access online

Hi team, hope everyone is doing great..

Photo Vault working all good, can log in using authentication everything good while it was lying dormant. Decided to move some photos to the drive from my iPhone, the way files are organized and which files are copied was hard to decipher, crashed couple times.. but eventually got the job done(dunno about the integrity) . From then on when ever I open the drive from the notification bar, it kept giving me sync errors asking me to open photo vault to complete the task, which I did several occasions and even for extended period of times, but still the annoying sync error wont go away and one drive had a red circle with a cross on it in the notification bar, I tried everything searching online and checking all the features of the one drive itself, but could not get over it, I found an article online suggesting to reset the drive using run command., I did, the sync error was gone but also the PHOTO VAULT icon on the drive.



I can access photo vault online, its not disabled or anythings done to it other the normal setting.

Personal vault is missing from file explorer

Hello,

I recently switched to a new computer. I am using OneDrive on another drive rather than my C: drive. Since the switch I have successfully synced all information between OneDrive online and the drive itself. Everything seems to be working fine.

However, unlike my previous computer, my Personal Vault is not on the list of folders in the OneDrive file tree. As well, "Unlock Personal Vault" is not an option when right clicking the taskbar OneDrive icon.

In the past I could click "Unlock Personal Vault" and easily access my vault in the OneDrive file tree in file explorer. But now, it is simply not there. There is no option.

Thankfully my personal vault is still accessible via the Windows Store OneDrive app and iOS apps. I am using OneDrive premium as part of the Office 365 subscription.

Any ideas? Thank you.

Problem solved.
I reset OneDrive.

 

OneDrive Personal Vault - accessing from Android device

I am trying to access my OneDrive Personal Vault using my Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone.
Whatever I try I end up with a screen telling me to create a Personal Vault, rather than opening the existing one, which was in fact the 'starting point'.

Steps taken:
- sign in using my Outlook account
- select verification method (send a code to my gmail account)
- paste that into the verification screen

After clicking [Verify] I get this "Create a Personal Vault"-screen.

Any suggestions?
