Windows 10: I cannot update to windows 20h2

try highlighting the white text Hello, I cannot update to windows 10 20h2, I tried resetting the update, stopping the service, using both sfc and DISM 4 times and trying to get the "check for updates" to find it but I cannot seem to get it. here's some things I keep getting "[COLOR=rgba243, 242, 241, 1]0x8007000d" on windows update assistant and it says it has a corrupted windows image[/COLOR]

Update 20h2

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

20H2 should not be installed right-away on your device - MS said the rollout is only to a fraction of users and would be labeled as an optional update initially. Are you enrolled in WIP?

You may uninstall 20H2 using the steps below:

Update History is not showing v.20H2

This is normal behavior in Windows 10, typically when you install a Feature Update like 20h2, the update history is wiped, this is to prevent the user from trying to uninstall an update that was prior to the Feature Update, which would de-stabilize Windows
10, the list should start building again, when some updates are applied to version 20h2 . . .

 

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
