Windows 10: How to stop the mouse from jumping to default dialog ?

I tried unchecking "automatically move pointer to the default buttin in a dialogue box" but it does not help. In every programs, my mouse jumps to the default input when I move it. For instance, in chrome if I do "CTRL + F" and then move my mouse it automatically jumps to the textbox. Same thing with skype, same thing when I type "windows + R" to type commands. Can't turn it off.

Jumping mouse cursor

Mouse cursor keeps jumping out of control. I've uninstalled it (there were 3 listed under the mouse device) and then updated the device driver. Didn't fix it. What do I do?

how can I stop my mouse from jumping to the top of the page every few seconds of me scrolling. I can be in the middle of reading an article and it jumps to the top of the page. Im also trying to do a clean up check and it wont complete

 

Mouse pointer teleportation to the default dialog button

To have the mouse snap to the default button in a dialog is still possible in Windows 10.

Click on ❖ Start → Type in: Mouse Properties → Click the Mouse & touchpad settings listing.

From the Settings window that appears:
Click on the Additional mouse options link → Click on the Pointer Options tab → Tick the Snap To option Automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box.
