  1. Browsers max 10 Mbps on a 500 Mbps network showing 200 Mbps on different laptop

My newer 16 GB RAM Dell laptop shows very slow speeds on all browsers except for Firefox 12 Mbps installed after seeing that the others were almost unresponsive. Download speeds are good and my other laptop shows wifi speeds of 100-200 Mbps on all browsers. 250 Mbps on the phone. I checked the wireless card, then all the drivers, everything seems to be OK. No viruses, trojans, etc. Very weird thing.

    :)

Curious about the difference beteen G5 mbps and the 2.4 mbps network

I did download the program, but it is beyond my capabilities to grasp how to go about these issues.
For one, I am an old dog and two I have dyslexia which makes it difficult to follow text instructions.
I do thank you for your effort to enlighten me, see enclosed the screen shots of each PC the one with just Joe showing on the list is the other PC.

Do i need upgrade for 200 Mbps ?

    So here's the thing
I want to upgrade my internet speed(from my internet provider) from 100 Mbps to 200 Mbps.It is a cheap upgrade so why not have more. But here is the problem i am confronted with:
I told them what kind of network card i have and the people from call center told me if i want to have 200 Mbps, i have to upgrade my network card. Since my old one will only read up to 100 Mbps. This for me is absolutely mind blowing! They recommended me a gigabit network card! And also told me the upgrade i will be paying for will consist in a maximum download speed of 200 Mbps and the Upload around 30 Mbps, again telling me my current card not being able to handle 200 Mbps
I did my research and it makes no sense what so ever!
Here is my network card NVIDIA nForce 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet. nVIDIA MCP78 - LAN Controller (PHY: Realtek RTL8211/8212) PCI
Can this read 200 Mbps net speed ,or not ?

Browsers max 10 Mbps on a 500 Mbps network showing 200 Mbps on different laptop

Curious about the difference beteen G5 mbps and the 2.4 mbps network

On one PC I get on the G5, 75 mbps download and 8.6 mbps on the upload and ping 114 ms (speed test)
On the other PC with 2.4 mbps I get on average 16.8 download and 4.6 upload and ping 21 ms (speed test)
Yet the speed between the 2 PC's does not seem to be that much different when browsing.
Furthermore, I tried to get the second PC also on the G5 but for some reason the G5 does not come up on the network list.
I was told that being on the G5 you get less interference using Wi-Fi.
Both PC's have the windows 10 OS.
I did reset the modem and I reset the network, but it did not make the G5 come up on the network list of the second PC, whereas before I changed mine to the G5 from the 2.4 you could see that both were visible on the both PC's network list.
