Windows 10: Can I swap the FN and CTRL button function?

I have a couple keyboards I love that have the Function button and Control buttons swapped compared to my laptop. Is there a way in windows to easily swap the function of those keys?With my Lenovo laptop I could do this in the BIOS and it was very helpful - so my muscle memory was consistent across my keyboards. I could adjust in the BIOS when I was using one versus the other. Can this be replicated by a setting within Windows 10 Pro? It isn't available on my new Dell laptop's BIOS settings.If not, consider this a feature request lol. Probably would help folks swapping to Windows from App

Windows and Fn keys Swapped in functioning

I have MSI GL63 laptop and my windows version is 2004.

today i noticed that my Fn key and Windows keys swapped functioning .

Is this windows issue or any other? How can I solve it?

I don't know if I misunderstood you, but just in case:

You do not need to hold down the three buttons simultaneously (i.e. Fn+Ctrl+C), it is enough if you press (once) in the order: Fn > Ctrl > C

I do agree that it is stupid of whoever designed the phone to prioritize Chr as I hardly ever use that button but indeed use Ctrl at least once every day.

 

Lenovo E570: left Ctrl button is no longer located at the bottom-left corner of the keyboard

I have recently got myself a new Lenovo E570 with Windows 10 on board.

As it turns out, the Ctrl button and the Fn button have been "swapped" (in comparison with the keyboard layout on older versions of Lenovo).

So the Fn button is now located at the at the bottom-left corner of the keyboard, while the Ctrl button is located next to it, much closer to letter keys which are typically used in conjunction with it for various common functionalities (copy, paste, cut, back, forth, etc).

As a result, many of my shortcut habits are now "deprecated".

Whenever I try to do Ctrl + some letter, I get Fn + that letter instead.

This is extremely annoying.

I was able to deactivate the Fn button by pressing it simultaneously with the Esc button (which is also labeled FnLock).

That helps a bit (the 'F' buttons attain their original functionalities).

But I'm still annoyed with not having the Ctrl button where I instinctively expect it to be.

Is there any way to change the Fn button to behave the same as the Ctrl button?
