Windows 10: Windows search key-box is missing from task bar

Ver. 1909 OS Build 18363.1533 I'm missing the box when hitting windows key and R it opens it. But if i forget to use that method, i'd rather the box be present on the task bar. I hit taskview in the context menu when looking over that strip or the context menu for the powershell that was also menu after last night's windows updates. (That's why i dread to update windows) Well, thanks if anyone might be able to give me the simple task to get it in view again.

guys am new user to windows 10, i just upgraded my pc to 10 today win 8.1. but now i misses search box in task bar. actually i heard there is task bar in win 10 task bar but in my case there's no search box... help me

  Right click on the task bar.

  Go to Cortana.

  Click on show search box.
  

Now check if you are able to find search box.

- Are you using desktop mode or tablet mode?

If you are using desktop mode and facing this issue I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

1. Right on the task bar and select
Cortana.

2. Click on Show search bar.

Check if this helps.

If you are on tablet mode, the search bar will not appear.
