Windows 10: Missing "Sign In WIth Local Account Instead" Option

I've been trying to sign out of my Microsoft Account that was connected to my Windows PC for the past few hours now, because I didn't think signing into the Xbox app would switch my ENTIRE PC into an online account they should change that. I didn't see this as much of a problem because I knew that signing out of the account isn't that hard, until I realized I don't even have the option to sign out as seen in the screenshot. Please tell me what's going on, because I really don't feel like factory resetting my PC and redownloading all of my apps again.

"Sign in with a local account instead" option missing

Since the Fall Creators Update, I've spent countless hours trying to find the "Sign in with a local account instead" option on the PC settings, but even now I still can't find it. It was suddenly missing under the 'Your info' tab.

I want to remove the account out of my PC and switch it to a local account because I plan to mark said account for closure/deletion and replace it with another one, but I find myself unable to. I feel like it would have bad consequences on my PC if I kept
it logged in to my Microsoft account, which, like I said, is marked for closure/deletion.

Where is the "Sign in with a local account instead" option? Did it move to another place without our knowledge?

My intention is not to create a new user with administrator rights, but to change back the principal system "Administration" account (User) back to itself, a local login that is using a "Local Account." This used to be possible by using the now missing
option to "sign in with a local account instead". This is clearly a OS bug.

 

Sign in with a local account instead MISSING - try this.

After logging in with a Microsoft account you can no longer login with your local account and the option to "Sign in with a local account instead" is missing.

Try logging in with .\username

worked for me.
