Windows 10: Setup Windows 10 Pro with Employee Work Email Address

I have a new employee on an HP Spectre with Windows 10 Pro who cannot link his work email Gmail to his Windows 10 account. We created a local only admin account when setting up the computer. This account is not linked to any email at all. His work account shows under the "Access Work or School" menu, and he's listed in our Azure AD. However, when I try to add "other users," it tells me that we cannot use a work account.Our other employees on Windows, myself included, have not had any issues like this, so I cannot figure out what has changed or what we're missing. Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

Additional email addresses

You are talking about two totally different things, contacts versus predictive text input in mail client.

In most email clients, like Windows Mail, when you start typing an address in TO, CC or BCC fields, the client does not pick the addresses suggested from your contacts. Instead, it suggests addresses you have sent email earlier, or addresses of those who have sent email to you.

If I now sent you an email, and you replied to it, next time when you write an email to someone whose address starts with K, my email address would be one of the suggested to you although I am not in your contacts.

Your concern about using the correct email address can be facilitated by adding and deleting user accounts on your device. Successfully created profiles can be changed to either a local or an administrator account as well as adding a name that would appear
on the logon screen. Editing profile details, which includes the registered email address, are currently unavailable. We'd recommend performing the following to add and delete user accounts on your device:

link. The link will provide steps for Home, Professional, and Enterprise editions of Windows 10. It will also provide the needed steps to make sure that the new account is set as an administrator.

Delete user account

• Search and launch Settings using Cortana.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Family & other user.
• Under Other users, locate and click on the account that you need to remove.
• Click on Remove.
• Follow on-screen prompts.
