Windows 10: Where do I find microsoft visual c++ 2017 x86 minimum runtime - 14.10.25008?

I keep getting a popup warning about feature you are using is on a network resource all the time, Randomly.It locks my pc when it loads and I can't get it to stop. If I press ok it tells me it can't find microsoft visual c++ 2017 x86 minimum runtime - 14.10.25008I have looked up this version and I cannot find ANYTHING about it. No download for it. Nothing.I decided to ignore it for a while and sort it when I had more time. However, after trying to sort it recently I found that I cannot. If I try to install latest versions of microsoft visual c++ As in if I install microsoft visual c++ 2015-20

Error installing Visual C++ 2019 X86 Minimum Runtime

I installed a couple versions of Microsoft Visual C++ for my new windows 10 system. However, when it comes to Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X86 Minimum Runtime, it just can't go through and always said "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource
that is unavailable."

Windows installer is running well, I've tried different copies, ran the program install and uninstall troubleshooter, and also tried to delete a specific registration key. None worked. I was wondering what happened......Thanks!!!

Firstly, I found no changes were needed regarding your first paragraph on virtual memory.
The checkbox beside: ‘Automatically manage paging file size for all drives’ was already ticked.

Next, I successfully installed x86: vc redist.x86.exe but could not install x64: vc redist.v64.exe.



The first error window was headed: Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X64 Minimum Runtime – 14.20.27508
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternative path to a folder containing the installation package ‘vc_runtimeMinimum_x64msi’ in the box below.
The box was headed ‘Use source’ and offered, C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{03EBF679-E8…

The next error window stated: The path ‘C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{03EBF679-E886-38AD-8E70-28658449F7F9}v14.14.26429\packages\vcRuntimeMinimum_amd64\vc_runtime cannot be found.
Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package ‘vc_runtimeMinimum_x64.msi’ in a folder from which you can install the product Microsoft Visual C++2017 x64 Minimum Runtime – 14.14.26429.

{03EBF679-E886-38AD-8E70-28658449F7F9}v14.14.26429 does not appear in the list in ProgramData/Package Cache on my computer.

The last error window that appeared stated: ‘The older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X64 Minimum Runtime – 14.20.27508 cannot be removed’

I retried installing x64: vc redist.v64.exe in Clean Boot mode but had the same error messages.



I have not attempted to go any further in your list of recommended actions.
Any ideas please?

To check follow the steps:

• Type Default programs & select programs & features.
• Check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
  is installed.

If yes suggest you to uninstall & reinstall Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
& check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists I would suggest you to contact the game manufacturer.
