Windows 10: My PC stops working properly for no apparent reason. Clock stops working and clicking...

Hello, as I said in the title I've been having some problems. I guess it is some form of freezing? It's not like a complete freeze, I can still move my cursor and in some instances switch windows or apps. At some point things stop working properly and I notice that my clock has stopped working. I can still move my cursor but not much else. At that point the only thing I can do is turn it off by holding the power button or the reset button. It is usually after I've been idle but I'm not sure for how long. Sometimes when I check the clock it only froze minutes before I noticed.These are my specs

AMD processor has stopped working properly

Okay so the same thing happened AGAIN. But this time instead of saying "AMD processor has stopped working properly" it said AMD processor has stopped working properly and has successfully recovered". But it still froze everything and crashed my game.

 

Chameleon Clock stopped working

This may or may not help but can't hurt. I just had problems after a clean install trying to re-install a program from 1999 that I've run on every Windows since and has 17 yrs of data. If you have the orig 32 bit version, I would opt to try that first. In either case, go to the program folder under C/Program Files x86 and r-click the exe that you start the program with, click 'Properties' then Compatibility tab.
Even if you've run the Windows compatibility assistant, ignore the recommendation and rollback to the oldest Windows version that you KNOW the program was working on. In my case, the Troubleshoot compatibility recommended XP SP3 but program did not work. I ticked the option to try 98/Me hidden in this window and now I have it working again ! Also, in the Security tab, give Full Control to all listed Users, Win10 usually defaults to Admin only. See attachment. Good Luck

AMD processor has stopped working properly

When I was playing this online FPS game my whole screen turned red and the game crashed with a note saying "AMD processor has stopped working properly". What can I do to fix this?
