Creating a default file name for all files saved to a folder

Where i work we have many documents that are saved to their respective folder on a daily basis by many different people. Everyone seems to have their own idea on what the files saved in the folder should be named. As you can probably imagine, it gets messy. Im curious if there is any way to set a default name that will automatically show up on the file name bar when a file is being saved to a particular folder. Then the person saving the file can just enter the current date at the end and click save. Any insight would be appreciated.

    :)

    Batch Files Knowledge Base

Don't use batch files very much but one I find useful is for creating a list of files in a directory.
Just copy the text below into Notepad and save as Filelist.bat

    dir /a /-p /o:gen >filelist.txt

When you run it from a folder it will create a Filelist.txt file,in the same folder, that lists all the files in that folder.Useful when you are too lazy to type all the files out yourself.
