  1. Persistent SRUDB Errors

Event Viewer has been showing an error in SRUDB.dat. I tracked it down to a faulty NVidia driver update, because it was causing BSOD with DPC_Watchdog_Violations. A hotfix from NVidia solved the BSOD, but the errors persist. They occur in pairs and are:svchost 3844,D,22 SRUJet: A request for a node on an empty page Pgno: 6413, Flags: 0xa80a has been made error -351 for a B-Tree ObjectId: 15, PgnoRoot: 79 of database C:\WINDOWS\system32\SR

Error: No work available to process

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.

  3. Windows 10 fails to update

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    error following an update

    Hi Patricia,

Thank you for using Windows 10.

The error code suggests the issue to be of Windows Updates. I suggest you to
Run the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool which fixes the Windows corruption error if there are any. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows+X.

    • Click on Command Prompt (Admin).

    • Type the command DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
      and hit Enter.
If the issue still persists, then let us know and we'll be glad to help.
