Windows 10: Bing browser pops up on startup every time.

Discus and support Bing browser pops up on startup every time. in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I have tried removing it from startup but it keeps re-installing.     Bing browser pops up on startup every time.


    I have tried removing it from startup but it keeps re-installing. Ridiculous I can't control what starts up on my machine. I am considering using a MAC instead because I am so tired of microsoft forcing me to use programs. Can you please tell me how to keep bing from starting up every time I sign in to my computer? Really really frustrating to have to take my precious time to basically remove a continuous ad from running on MY COMPUTER. Every post to fix the problem has just led me down a rabbit hole that doesn't fix the problem. To be clear, BING is starting up every time I sign on.

    How to remove the Bing browser from Windows 10

    Done all of the below but the 'REMOVE' button is greyed out.

    My personal preference is the Chrome browser. I really don't want this Bing window opening up every time I start my computer.

    Steps for removing Bing from the Browser.

    1. Open Internet Explorer and click on the Gear icon.
    2. Click on the 'Manage add-ons' option.
    3. Click on 'Search Providers' which is on left pane.
    4. Right click on 'Bing' where is listed under the 'Name:' column.
    5. Click on 'Remove' from the drop-down menu.

    Hi Aiden,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    As you are facing issue with Browser homepage, do let us know the following to assist you better:

    • Which browser pops-up after the Windows startup (Microsoft Edge/ Internet Explorer)?
    • Which is the default web browser on your computer?

    I suggest you to make Google Chrome as a default web browser also, try to edit the home page in Google Chrome and check if it helps.
