Windows 10: Windows update changed French Canadian Keyboard style

After a recent Windows 10 Update I can no longer use the French Canadian keyboard because I've lost access to necessary letters. It seems the new layout relies on additional keys that my laptop keyboard does not have and therefore the only way I can get certain accented letters is through character map/on-screen keyboard which is too inefficient to be practical. Can this be added/changed back please? I have seen others propose this even on this site, but there was no useful suggestion or information about a fix. To be clear, I did not change the keyboard or language set

Hi,

New computer.

I could select the "Canadian French" language for the keyboard. This way I can use the blue characters on my HP omen.

Then I restarted, and there was windows updates.

Now, "Canadian French" keyboard disapeared ! I can use "French", but the keyboard is not good (I need the one using the blue keys).

How can I get back the "Canadian French" keyboard ?

Actually, I just needed to restart the computer.
Then I saw "Canadian French" again.

 

French Canadian keyboard lost

The 'French Canadian' keyboard layout seems to have been lost with the latest Windows 10 update (December 2017), it has been my choice for many years. French (Canada) is still available but it is subtly different, for example the ALT-2 combination no
longer gives @ and I have not yet located quotation marks. I type fast so my keyboard is important. Any way to get it back?
