Windows 10: BSOD usbaudio.sys error after plugging USB microphone

Hello, recently i bought a microphone. Then when i want to try it right after plugging it to the laptop , my laptop crash. Already tried different port and i also have tried plug and unplugged the microphone and in the device manager it still present USB pnp device. I cannot uninstall it because whole windows is problem when tried to uninstall or installing any driver whatsoever. Shutdown and restarting also doesnt work as it will stuck there untill the Blue screen occur. Help me please. I already installed the latest driver.

Welcome to the 10forums.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
   • Double click the executable to open it
   • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window


AVG is trying to request data from the internet, which is why the network driver is marked as the cause.

It is further recommended to check your Qualcomm network driver for updates, its driver is not supported for Windows 10.

Internal microphone no longer working after headphones were plugged in via USB-C port

As the title suggest, my internal microphone no longer works (and I believe it is no longer recognized) after I plugged in headphones into a hub that was plugged into USB-C port. Any suggestions?

 

Strange problem with USB Microphone

I recently snapped off the microphone-end of the line on my Plantronics headset, so instead of getting a whole new headset, I decided to get a Logitech USB Desktop Microphone.

I have a custom build PC that I had built last October which has a Gigabyte P35-DS3R mobo that has like 8 or 10 USB ports and runs Vista Home Prem. 64-bit. No matter which USB port I plug the mic into, and record myself using Windows Sound Recorder, I get crackling in the background.

I thought it might be the unit so I exchanged it for another and still the same thing.

Then I plugged it into a laptop running Vista Home 32-bit and it works just fine.

I thought it might be something interfering with it, like the wireless mouse or speakers or something, so I brought the laptop to the location of the desktop, and put the mic in the same environment, and it still works fine on the laptop.

I've tried leaving nothing else (USB-based) besides the mic plugged in the desktop and still get crackling.

Obviously all the other devices work just fine (wireless mouse, keyboard, mp3 cable, joystick) with the USB ports, but the mic doesn't.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
