  1. Does Windows 10 support creating ISO files natively?

BACKGROUND: I recently completed a clean retail install of Windows 10 on a computer that previously has an HP OEM install. After the clean Windows install, I installed a few updated drivers and applications, and it’s ready for the end user. The HP OEM installation had a Recovery Partition built in. The new install does not so I will be creating one with the current system image so that so that I don’t have to go through all that set up again next time.

Question: Is there any native support in Windows 10 for creating ISO files?

I seem to be able to mount and burn them, but I don’t see any option to creat an ISO file natively, without 3rd party software.

Does Windows 10 support creating ISO files natively?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
