    What is BLBeacon?


    i had 2 browsers. it was google chrome and microsoft edge and later i wanted to go to registry and i found something named chromium i clicked it and i saw something named BLBeacon i searched it on internet mostly they dont know what is that but they say its an trickware or virus and i dont have other choice to contact microsoft can you tell me if its normal? if its a virus can you tell me which antivirus i need to use to remove it beacuse i am scared rn

    Chrome download

    OK, please try this:

    • Close Chrome
    • Open Powershell as Administrator (Accessible by right clicking your Start Button)
    • Run this Command and hit enter: Set-ItemProperty HKCU:\Software\Google\Chrome\BLBeacon\ -Name state -Value "0"
    • Close Powershell
    • Try Chrome again to see if you can access the Web
