Windows 10: Sea of Thieves Login to xbox live Ashbeard problem

When i load up sea of thieves on the xbox app on pc it says i need to login to xbox live which i already have and i cant seem to fix it and have tried many ways to fix it but nothing works!

Unable to play Sea of thieves - Ashbeard error

I have purchased the xbox game pass to be able to play sea of thieves. The problem is that every time I try to play it says that I'm not connected to xbox live and I have to do it before playing the game. I don't know how I can solve this because the thing
is that I am starting the game from the xbox app for pc, so I'm already connected to xbox live before even starting the game.
