    Trying to update Windows 10, now stuck in BSOD loop


    Been trying to update Windows 10 version 1909 to a new version for months, but always got a BSOD Page Fault in Nonpaged Area during the update installation. It never bothered me too much until recently when 1909 reached the end of its life. After days of troubleshooting I reset the PC, still had the same issues. Recently tried installing the newest version of Windows 10 via boot USB, but that also resulted in BSOD during the final setup phase choosing privacy settings. Now I cannot boot the PC without a BSOD at all. A previous forum recommended running Memtest 86+ to check for ram issues.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
