    Windows 10, Lose ability to browse after about an hour


    Good Morning - Since the last windows update, I loose the ability to browse the internet after around an hour of up time. It returns with a reboot.Please read before responding - I'm way past all the easy solutions like "reboot" or "flush DNS"Problem is NOT the router. All other devices on the network operate fine.Problem is NOT network connectivity. It happens both with WIFI and on Hard wire, and modem is 5 feet away.DNS is already set manually to Google for both Ipv4 and Ipv6 and problem happens regardless of DNS settingProblem is NOT browser specificProblem is NOT Quickstart - that would

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Hello,

    Is your PC is connected to the modem/router via Ethernet cable or WiFi?

    We suggest you follow the troubleshooting steps below:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • On the pop-up window, type ipconfig /release.
    • Wait for a reply that the IP address has been released.
    • Type ipconfig /renew.
    • Wait for another reply that the IP address has been re-established.
    • Type ipconfig /flushdns.
    • Close command prompt, and attempt to access the websites again.
